Phoenix PD: 7 young men shot at overnight warehouse party

The youngest of the shooting victims is 15 years old, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a party at a Phoenix warehouse turned violent overnight, leaving seven people with gunshot wounds.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a fight broke out around 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside a large party in a warehouse near 22nd Avenue and McDowell Road.

Police say seven young men were shot and transported to local hospitals. None of their injuries are thought to be life-threatening, Phoenix police said.

The victims are between 15 and 28 years old.

Those that attended the party found out about the party through popular social media app Snapchat.

A 17-year-old who was at the party says he believes his brother is one of those victims. He told 12 News that he saw one man shooting in the air and another man spraying bullets.

Police say there is limited suspect information, but four men in their late teens to 20s who fled the scene in a red Toyota Prius are thought to be responsible for the shooting.

The Phoenix Police Department is asking anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Phoenix Police Department Violent Crimes Bureau at (602) 262-6141.
