Chase Field transformed into driving range for Topgolf Live

Topgolf will be at Chase Field from Dec. 13-15. They will put hitting bays up in the stands and inflatable targets on the baseball field.

PHOENIX — Topgolf Live arrived at Chase Field! The baseball field has been transformed into a driving range for Dec. 13-15.

The ballpark transformed into a golf wonderland with 23 private bays available to reserve.

The event features giant targets on the field, plus, Toptracer range technology to track each golf ball like a professional. The bays will be built out of the diamond level and can host up to six people for one-hour sessions.

D-backs officials say this will be the perfect holiday party spot for companies, families and friends. Chase Field is the 4th MLB stadium to host a Topgolf live event.

Topgolf live is a pop-up version of Topgolf held in different stadiums and venues across the country but only for a limited time.

The golf company has been turning stadiums and ballparks over the past couple of years by putting inflatable targets on the field while people hit from pads located up in the stands.

In total, there will be about six targets on the field that range from 40 to 150 yards away. When it is your turn, you get five shots and your score is based on distance and accuracy. Each player at the hitting bay gets five shots in a row and then the game is over.
