Hotter but at least no triple-digits

Arizona is stuck with above average temperatures but they won't stray too far.

PHOENIX — Temperatures will remain above average all week, but at least we'll be spared from the 100s. 

Temperatures will get knocked back a bit midweek as gusty winds whiz through the state. The Valley can expect wind gusts in the 20s while gusts could get up to 40 mph in the mountains on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Temps will return to a warming trend again over the weekend.

The windiest day will be Sunday with gusts up to 50 mph for the high country and 30 mph in the Valley. Wind advisories may be issued.

Sunshine will keep on giving for at least the next week.
