Winds whip up even higher this weekend

PHOENIX — Arizona's weather is fairly low-key for the next few days with sunshine, slightly above average temps, and typical afternoon breeziness.

Saturday sticks out as the warmest day of May so far, peaking in the mid-90s.

Windier and cooler conditions are set to arrive in Arizona on Sunday and Monday. The Valley could see 35 mph gusts while the High Country will see 55 mph gusts. Wind advisories will likely be issued.

For the next week, we will keep more sunshine than anything in the forecast.
