Winter storms are down – but not out

Another round of afternoon thunderstorms expected after plenty of sun.

PHOENIX — Unsettled weather continues with showers and thunderstorms expected through the remainder of Monday afternoon and early evening across south-central Arizona. 

Coverage of showers and thunderstorms decrease for Tuesday before the responsible weather system finally exits the region on Wednesday. 

Cooler unsettled weather then looks to return this weekend into early next week.

TUESDAY: 77/55  Mostly sunny, warmer **SPRING BEGINS**

WEDNESDAY: 80/56 Sunny & warming

THURSDAY: 84/58 Mostly sunny 

FRIDAY: 85/60 Mostly sunny & warm

SATURDAY: 86/60 Clouds increase, breezy

SUNDAY: 77/55 Partly Cloudy & breezy

MONDAY: 68/54 Afternoon isolated showers & thunder
