PHOENIX — On Wednesday, temperatures are still on track to continue to dial down daily through the rest of the week as winds crank up in the meantime.
Gusty southwest winds will blow through Arizona each afternoon and will be strongest on Thursday with gusts up to 30-45mph.
Below average temperatures are even forecasted for a three-day stretch starting Thursday.
Dry weather will have staying power for the Valley but in the mountain regions, some light showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible Thursday through Saturday. Snowfall could make it down to 7,000 feet by Friday night/Saturday morning.
Temperatures will remain cooler through the weekend but will turn back up again early next week. Triple-digits don't appear to be making a comeback yet, though.
