PHOENIX — On Thursday, temperatures continue to keep cooling down across Arizona with below average afternoon readings expected.
Meanwhile, southwest winds will be speeding up on Thursday and again Friday with gusts ranging from 25-45 mph. Areas of blowing dust are possible.
Chances for scattered light showers and a few thunderstorms will also enter the picture in Northern Arizona on Thursday and then again on Friday afternoon and into Saturday. Snowfall could make it down to 7,000 feet by Friday night/Saturday morning. There's also a slight chance for a shower to end up in the Valley Friday night.
Temperatures will remain cooler than average through Saturday but will go back to a warming trend next week.
