The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Phoenix early Friday.
According to police, the crash happened near 19th and Northern avenues and the driver remained at the scene.
Police said Northern Avenue between 19 and 21st avenues will be "closed for an extended time period."
