Arizona reacts to the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant

Arizona personalities took to social media Sunday to react to the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

PHOENIX — Retired NBA star Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were among nine people killed Sunday in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Bryant was 41. 

Bryant played his entire 20-year NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

He is 4th in all-time points among NBA players. LeBron James passed Bryant on the list the day before his death.

With the Lakers, Bryant won five NBA titles and he was a 2-time Finals MVP and an 18-time all-star.

The Phoenix Suns played a game in Memphis on Sunday. The teams took 24-second and 8-second violations to honor Kobe and the two numbers he wore during his career.

The world flooded social media channels Sunday to react to the news of Bryant's death, including many Arizona personalities.
